This policy explains how The Canadian Forum on Workplace Innovation (the “Forum”) handles personal information collected through this website, including information you submit through the contact form.

The Forum’s practices are guided by Canadian private-sector privacy principles, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) where applicable, and applicable provincial privacy legislation. This policy is not a statement of certification, and not every privacy statute necessarily applies to every activity described here.

The Forum is responsible for personal information under its control and has designated responsibility for privacy questions and requests. Until a dedicated privacy email address is published, please send privacy questions and requests through the Contact page.

Only name, email address and your message are needed to respond. Organization, role or title and area of interest are optional. Please do not include sensitive personal information — such as health, financial or identification details — in the form.

This information is processed to deliver and maintain the website, keep it secure, limit abusive traffic and diagnose technical problems.

The Forum does not currently operate a general newsletter or mailing list through this website. If the Forum later sends commercial electronic messages, it will do so with consent or another permitted basis, and those messages will include the required sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism.
